WELCOME TO THE CHAPTER 296 MEMBER AREA!

In the future this area will be restricted to Chapter 296 members only. During the interim, general information is being provided to all visitors under the following four sections.

Archives

• Therein are reference documents conveniently grouped for quick access by Shop Stewards, Committee staff, et al. The documents include, but are not limited to, Chapter Meeting reports, and forms (e.g., for recruitment of new members, leave donations, grievance checklists, etc.)

• Therein is information on both the “Individual” and “Institutional” type of grievances. Only numbers and general fact patterns are provided in the Individual type.
• FYI, Institutional grievances can affect small groups of employees from any workgroup within the organization, the entire workforce, or any range in between.

• Therein is information on current National Treasury Employee Union legislative priorities, plus information on other legislative matters of interest to Federal employees, specifically National Park Service staff in the Washington Office.

• Therein is the latest information on subjects relative to WASO employment. As new Hot Topics are added, the older stories will be moved to the Archives Section of the website. Visitors should follow the links below:
